San Francisco, California Trip

Eric, Mike Bunn (Eric's good friend), and I all drove down to California to see San Francisco and to watch Mike play in a ping pong tournament over Labor Day weekend. We drove down after work on Friday and arrived in Santa Rosa (where Eric is from) early the next morning. Eric was a trooper and drove the entire way!! We woke up the next morning and traveled 45 min or so to San Francisco to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. I have never done this before so it was a real treat! It was foggy and really windy and cold, but that is okay. I really didn't know what I was missing, so I enjoyed what I saw. Then we went to Berkley University where Mike's ping pong tournament was. He lost his first competition, but in his second, he kept winning and winning and before we knew it it was 10:00 pm and he had won his final and last game. He even went home with a trophy! Worth the drive eh? Actually, that was worth it, but what was really worth the drive was Bodega Bay (did I spell that right?) Just breathtaking!! When you look at the pictures you will know why. The big boulders coming out of the ocean, the cascading waves, as well as the beautiful sunset to name a few, made the entire experience just worth it!!
